Website vs Sales funnels - Which is best for your business?

There are 1.5 billion websites on the internet. Only a small percentage of those websites receive constant visitors. As a result, selecting whether you need a website or sales funnel, might be a difficult task.

Everyone understands you need a website for your business, and in today's web-driven environment building a strong, credible, and professional-looking website is the first step in any successful business, big or small.

However, if you've ever tried to develop a website the traditional way, you've probably been overwhelmed by the amount of steps required. How disappointing the results may be.

Have you spent hours or weeks building your website? Have months passed since you built it? Only to find that it has un-successively rewarded you with poor sporadic traffic and low-quality leads.

But: Oh well... at least it's pretty, right?

The days of having a website just to have a website are truly long gone. You need results..!

It’s time to move on..!

It’s time for something better..!  Namely, The Sales Funnel.

Let me begin with a simple question.

What is the purpose of having a website?

1. Do you want a website to increase the number of people who see your business and raise brand      awareness?

2. Are you looking for ways to create quality leads?

3. Last, but not least, do you want to increase your bottom line.. sales?

Of course you want all three!

You don't want a website just to brag to your pals about how cool it is that you have one.

You need a website that generates tangible results and an income to support whatever your passion is.

You want a website that consistently generates leads, traffic, and sales.

What is the use of having a website in the first place if you don't make money with it? That's the ultimate goal, right?

Unfortunately, most websites are ineffective at generating real results. Unless you're a well-established firm with a well-known brand, you really don't need a full blown website...

SO, The answer is, you ultimately need a sales funnel.

But which is the most effective? Is it better to have a website or a sales funnel? What exactly is the distinction between the two?

OK.. First, let's have a look at how a website functions.

People visit your website, they wander about aimlessly, and then try and make a decision on their own for what to do next. The vast majority of them will leave, since they've not has any guidance to what they came to the site to accomplish in the first place.

They've been shown a lot of information — some content, some items, some adverts, some news, and some About Page how-to's — but really, they haven't been told what they should ultimately do.

There's an old saying I tell my clients.. "A confused mind always says no."

It's similar to when someone walks into a physical store... If you don't greet them, don't ask if you can assist them, they may leave without purchasing anything.

A sales funnel differs in this regard.

Instead of a website, a sales funnel acts as your finest salesperson, guiding each prospect to a sale.

Except it all happens online, and it all happens automatically.

This is how it works:

Each page in a sales funnel is purposefully designed to move the visitor to the next page and to the next action... ultimately leading them to a conversion, sale, or lead.

And I might add that a sales funnel will convert at a much higher rate than a typical website.

So Ultimately, you have a couple of choices here..

1. You can develop a website the old-fashioned way... which could end up being the difficult way.

Or..

2. You can use a funnel building software to create the easy and perfected -drag and drop- sales funnel way.

Let me demonstrate what we're talking about.

The Wrong Way to Create a Website

Creating a website for your company appears simple at first.

However, this is not the case.

First..

To begin, you must purchase a domain. These days, finding a domain that fits your business can be a challenge in itself.

That's not all, though. After you've purchased a good domain name, you'll need to choose a hosting provider for your website. A web hosting company provides a physical location for your website to store all its information.

And even though you have a name and hosting, you still don't have a website.

Now, when it comes to creating a standard website:

You can create a custom website that requires coding knowledge. But if you don't have the technical skills to design your own website, you'll need to pay a web developer to do it for you.

The financial issue is hiring a developer can be costly, and their final product (which you may or may not like at first) isn't designed to convert visitors into buyers.

It may also take weeks for your final website to be done, and what if you want something changed? Each additional change will cost you more money and more time.

Another choice could be:

You could create a website with a content management system that include simple website templates.

Two of the most popular are WordPress or Shopify, but they may have limited free template options, resulting in a basic website with little or no adjustable structure or automation, which can mean fewer conversions.

You may also need to purchase one or more of the numerous plugins required to run these websites effectively.

Second...

Whether you create a custom website or utilize a content management system, you must determine which pages your site will contain and how they will appear.

You will have to plan and write the content for each page, as well as determine how you will integrate design components throughout your site.

Without a doubt, creating and maintaining a website can be quite time-consuming.

Unfortunately, most small business owners, and entrepreneurs, don't have the knowledge, time, or finances to invest in a website building project.

How to Create a Website Using Sales Funnels

In all the time that the internet has been around, this process has changed very little. The internet may be faster and looking better than before. However, the method and time it takes to create a website is pretty similar to what it was in 2005.

But it doesn’t have to be this way...

Today, the modern way is to build a sales funnel, and while it acts as a replacement for the traditional website, it also guides each visitor through the sales process, qualifying leads at each step, and ensures that visitors convert into a buyer/lead/client for your business. Ultimately making you money, and building business rapport.

Putting together a webpage in a sales funnel using a Funnel Software is faster and easier than building a standard website, and you'll end up with a more successful funnel that closes more deals.

You don't need to buy a domain, pay hosting fees, plan webpages, or do any development work to create a funnel. (These fees are usually included in most funnel software systems).

You should also look for a sales funnel software system that provide templates. Pages, forms, checkout, and fulfillment processes are all included in a sales funnel template. Just like they are on a
traditional website, but without the hassle. And your funnel will be fully functional in a day or two, not weeks. There are so many sales funnel templates for your products/ideas, You simply select the one
that best suits your company's requirements.

Furthermore, if you want to customize your funnel, you can add your own images, content and anything else you can think of to match your own needs.

You can use a sales funnel to generate leads, encourage people to join up for an event, or offer your
product... or whatever it is you're attempting to achieve!

Additionally, a sales funnel will do more than just replace a website, it will outperform it's counterpart.

That's where funnel building software comes in. It lets you design a funnel quickly and easily using
tried-and-true templates tailored to your industry, product, or idea.

Many of the templates available in a funnel AI are the same sales funnels that big multi-million
dollar companies have been using to create millions in a variety of industries. And, they are based on
market research and testing to see which funnel structure works best for each market.

The sales funnel has become a well-known idea in the sales industry, but many firms are still unsure how to apply it to their online presence..

There is no better way to sell things online, if you grasp the value of guiding consumers through the
steps of the sales funnel.

So In Summary:
